Barney is a 15 year old, 15hh sorrel saddle mule gelding.
Barney is good with his feet and ears. He loves to be groomed. He stands to be saddled and to be mounted.
I have used Barney for trail riding and have put on lots of miles and some great rides. Barney crosses water, is not bothered by trucks, traffic or machinery. He will do a very fast walk, you can sit his smooth trot (he just loves to trot, trot, trot) and he has a nice little canter. He can lead the group or he will follow. Barney loads well in a trailer.
We attended a Brad Cameron Clinic M1 and he picked everything up right away. Barney is not a lazy mule as he is willing to work. He spent 30 days with a trainer when I got him. He can probably do anything you know to ask. He could be really good at games because he is very smart.
He has great feet that are very hard and does not need shoes where we ride.
He is current on all his shots and just had his teeth floated. He is a good looking mule.
He will suit an experienced or confident rider. He rides in a Thom Thumb. Trainer, farrier and vet references available.
We have limited turnout time and Barney needs more than we have. We also have limited space and I have found a mule to better match the gait of our walking horse.
We are located near Cleveland, Ohio. Priced to sell at $1200.00.

We recently incurred several unexpected (human) medical procedures and bills. Even more frustrating - with no definitive diagnosis, we don't know how much more will need to be done.
Even though he is cute and fun to have around, we just can't afford to keep him. I have three small children (ages 1, 4 and 6) so with what limited time I have been able to work with him lately, he is smart to retain previous lessons.
He should mature around 13-1/2 hands. His sire was a spotted standard jack and his dam is just shy of 14 hands registered silver dun Quarterpony.
He has been vaccinated for West Nile, Eastern & Western Equine Encephalomyelitis, Tetanus, Influenza, and Rhinopneumonitis. His Coggins test was negative (which is a good thing!). He has been de-wormed every 2 months and hooves trimmed regularly.
I have to go to Girl's Camp this week so I won't get cell phone reception in the mountains, but if you are interested in coming to see him this weekend or during the first few weeks of August, just email me so we can set a time so you can come meet him.
Financially, I have over $1300 into him, but I am open to offers.

She isn't a finished mule but is easy to handle and to be around . Penelopee is good about her feet and haircuts and bathes and loads good. Catch her anywhere and she stands tied real good.. All this mule needs is someone that has time to spend with her. I broke her last year and she was just a dream to ride. She will tune up and be a great mule for shows or the mountains. Mack is a huge 15.2 hh riding mammoth. He is super friendly, and loves to go for rides. He isn't highly trained, but just likes to go. Most people can't believe he's a donkey, they've never seen one this large. I bought him to help me get over a fear of riding (after some horse-riding accidents) but his size is a big intimidating to me, as I am only 5'1" and uncomfortable way up there. I have ridden him though, and didn't hyperventilate like usual (when on a horse) and that's the most I've ridden anything in 7 years. He is very gentle. Talk about potential, this mule is bred the best!
Out of our Bishop World Champion jack Braymoore's Raven and our AQHA mare Spinnin Zipper. This mare has King, Otoe, Grey Badger II & Zippo Pine right on her papers. There are not many mules around that are bred like this!
Zip is 52" (13 hands) at 12 months old. Out of a 59 1/2" mammoth jack and a 14.3 hand mare. He has good bone and is an extremely well balanced young mule. He has a keen head with large dark eyes. He is athletic just like both of his parents. Just to play, he already cuts and rounds up whoever is in the pasture.
Zip was imprinted at birth. Zip leads and ties well and of course he has been clippered. Easy going.
He is the mule for anyone looking for a cowy mule to bring along and finish.
Has been around buffalo, no spook in him.
He is priced far below what a mule of this quality should bring, but I have 7 weanlings to move and somebody has to go. We had kept him back for ourselves and he has not been offered for sale before.
He will be branded before sold.

Foxy is a beautiful yearling molly mule out of our WC mammoth jack Really Dun It and a perlino AQHA mare. She has that carbon copy Really Dun It head. Her color is best described as caramel dun with roan hairs frosted through her coat. She has a black dorsal stripe and leg bars.
Foxy is a pistol and she has a world class personality. Easy going and in your pocket. You can clip her and she doesn't even bat an eye. Always the first one through the gate, she wants you to do things with her.
This mule stands 50 1/2" at 13 months old. She is a show quality mule in a smaller package. She would make an ideal show mule for a junior to show in the 58" and under halter classes. Or, how about a sharp trail mule for your grandkids to ride along side you and your mule...
