8/11/11: Rock and Roll enjoyed their massage..when don’t they?! Since we have been doing Roll’s workout in the round pen the morning before his massage, he is much happier to stand quietly and actually enjoy the process. Both mules are much calmer and actually enjoy our company now. Abrupt movements are tolerated and they tell us in no uncertain terms when we should dispense rewards. I am glad they are finally feeling free enough to express their wishes to us. The communication lines are beginning to open wide!
