Great News! Y’all came through and Feather has transport for the first leg of her journey. Even better – the hauler offered to haul 2 more rescues for the price of Feather’s haul.
Meet Tulip. The information I was given is she was a bucking pony. This means she was trained to buck, which makes her pretty non desirable for a child’s pony. She seems thin, but is said to be very heavy in foal. Look at that beautiful little face. Will you help me save her?
Hauling is one of the most expensive parts of rescuing these precious souls. Now instead of Feather’s hauling fee covering one rescue, the same dollar amount is covering 4 lives. Feather, Tulip and her unborn baby and Athena.
Athena needs some attention asap. I believe she is a hinny? Her knee appears to be very swollen, and her hoof is extremely messed up and that is most likely from the way she protects her knee when she walks.
I was told these two were on the 48 HOUR LIST. That means they have less than that now to be saved. Let’s make the most of this beautiful gift from the hauler. Let’s save 4 lives instead of 1, for the same hauling fee.
