Wow, the calls just keep coming. Less than 72 hours to save them. Can we do this????
As usual there is no time to grieve the losses. Maybe that is how I survive. Not being able to process through the pain, but needing to get up and help the next group. We need funds for bail, transport, gelding, vetting and of course they would appreciate some good food as well.
I received a call this morning for these gorgeous mustang colts. They are easily big enough to ship, and they are heading to slaughter if we don’t step up. I was hesitant, as I know times are tough for a lot of us. However, when God puts them in front of me, I know I am supposed to try. The worst case scenario would be having to pick and choose who we can save and who dies. Please let’s save them all.
If you want these babies to stay out of the slaughter pipeline, please help and share far and wide.
Donks should be here by next week. That seemed like we did enough, until I look into those beautiful faces and know we are their only chance. They don’t deserve to die. Please help save them. I have to say there is never ever a dull moment at Chilly Pepper.
