It’s beyond “go time”. I paid bail for all 4 horses, Athena, Feather, Sampson and Angel, even though we are shy $795 for the last two. I did receive another $50 towards them, so we are only short $745.
THEN – Another 911 call. MELODY – broken, sad, starving; an emaciated mess. Yet there is still a tiny bit of hope in her eyes.
I COULDN’T BELIEVE IT when I got the call. Of course I had to step up, as I had enough room for 1 more on the trailer. What started out as a logistical nightmare with the high cost of transporting Feather has turned into one of the most stressful, successful & unusual rescues. Thanks to all of you and your willingness to help save these lives, 5 horses avoided the trailer of death, and will be heading home.
WE NEED $1395 to turn this from a 1 horse rescue to a 5 horse rescue. and that covers the costs of getting the horses through the 1st leg of their journey and starting their TLC.
I am exhausted, way too much ice, and there is always so much stress when trying to figure out these types of saves. However, we couldn’t ignore these horses and Melody is in the worst condition by far. PLEASE help us “git ‘er done” and have a chance for the life they deserve.
