The final leg of their journey….. Sadly I need unexpected help,
I have to apologize. I was planning on doing the last leg of the haul myself. The horses have started their quarantine and have had a few days to settle and get stronger and feel better. However, it is time to get them home now. They need to be settled into their homes and have their little barns and continue their quarantine and start their healing.
However, my leg is simply not up to me doing the haul myself. With quarantine, board and the last stretch of the haul, Chilly Pepper needs around $1540. It would have been so nice to haul myself, but it simply is not a good time leg wise. I won’t take a chance on the safety of our precious kids. It is humiliating, but it is what it is. I will still be able to haul sometimes, but it is not always possible. I love to do it as it saves much needed funds.
I hope y’all will understand and help me with this last leg of the journey. They need to stop and rest for a few, but it is time to get them now. Weather is coming in and we have a narrow window to get them home.
